Toyota donates 32 cars to automotive technology programs

VERSAILLES, Ky. – Eleven colleges from the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) will receive 32 cars for automotive technology programs, thanks to a donation from Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky.

Vehicle types donated include Camry, Avalon and Lexus, ranging from 2018-2021 models with several hybrids.

KCTCS said the Automotive Technology program teaches students about troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, servicing, and repair of automobiles while preparing graduates for entry-level service technician jobs in the automotive industry. auto repair.
